Why do they always call it "Season 3" and never, "the final season?"
I mean, EVERYONE dies at the end, so what exactly does giving it a number instead of the appropriate acknowledgment of the impending closure do?
And what was with that while alien space/time/universe "turn it off and back on again" twist about.
It was like the creators did one type of drug for season 1, really good drugs.
And then they did a mellower, hippie "love and peace man" tree bigger drug for season two.
Then. Season three was like… the just swallowed a bucket of everything they could get their hands on and all ages that if they started freaking out they would give each other a horse tranquilizer…. and they spent the first 90% of the show waiting for the drugs to make them more creative and the the last 10% slowly watching their souls die as they made a lazy and absurd ending even M Night Shamawhatsit however you spell his name would have been embarrassed to have written.
And the FROG!!!

Why was season 3 so insanely bad compared to the first two which were pretty awesome. New showrunner or something???
I'm noticing people either liked or disliked Season 3, and tbh I think I'm somewhere in the middle. I have a love-hate relationship with it as there are aspects I do like from it but it does feel sort of messy and rushed – not as polished or refined as the other two in terms of plot and pacing.
