It’s just surprising that Del Toro is using his creativity in all forms and just proves that he can do more than just horror movies. The man is truly creative but I’d honestly love if he’d make horror movies based off fairy tales like little mermaid, Cinderella, etc. because the Disney versions are very innocent and I want people to see how it actually went down 💀
At least we know that with Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio as opposed to Disney's that there will be no chance of Pinocchio deciding that he's wants to be a real girl instead of a real boy.

The Disney version was for children. This movie was good but the Pinocchio that came out a couple of years ago was better.
Love to see Del Toro's anti-fascist reading of pinocchio in opposition to Jordan Peterson who twists the meaning of these classic stories to suit a far-right 'culture war' agenda.

After watching this movie in theaters I think I am going to write my own Pinocchio story as a book because I did not like the ending of this version the beginning was okay but the end was not which makes me want to write my own Pinocchio story to make up for it.

I watched this movie in the theater today and it was a pretty good film. I would say just as good as Disneys Pinocchio
Gahh!!! I get chills when I watch this teaser. I've been waiting for this film forever. It's exactly how I imagined it would be.
This one "teaser" had more heart, emotion, originality and impact, than the entirety of that most recent Disney attempt!
Really looking forward to this.
The movement of the characters is not as smooth as previous SMA, such as The Boxtrolls or The Fantastic Mr. Fox or Isle of Dogs.
