Being Black is just fun…. They don't lynch us anymore, but they make sure any sense of joy or wonder is squashed in your heart.

This movie sucked big time. Very sad and a horrible storyline. Extremely depressing. Terrible acting! It truly gave me the blues watching it. It seems like all the Black movies from Tyler are about Dysfunctional black families. I'm personally not a fan of that type of Genre.

I just watched Tyler Perry's Jazzman's Blues. Willie Earl reminds me of William, Harry's jealous brother, who is a traitor because his brother is more beloved and successful than him. Good movie It gets 5 stars from me

I love this movie only 1 flaw…at the end the Mother Haddie Mae and the girl/lady Bucket aka LeeAnn Looks as old as the Haddie Mae and its never clear is Boyou is the real Dad or not …they just speculate he his son. Lee Anne looks 90 years old and Haddie Mae looks 86. LeeAnn was much younger than Haddie Mae so Lee Anne needed to be in her 40's or 50's. Take notice Tyler.

I was impressed and emotionally moved by this movie. I think it was really good! I did not expect this from Tyler Perry but I look forward to more like this because it was too good! All the actors and actresses did an amazing job and the story was captivating. Thank you for putting this out there cuz it’s a story that needs to be told.
